MEET YOUR NEW RESIDENT

A little closer to
another world.

The Crystal Tortoise makes patience look interesting. In the imagined wildlife of Intergalactic Zoo, its shell is more than a protective roof: it is a place where luminous crystals can grow. The animal’s compact, grounded shape and gentle colours offer a calmer encounter after the quicker and more buoyant creatures of the opening habitats.

Its appeal is in the contrast between a slow-moving body and a shell that suggests an entire mineral landscape. Look at the way the shell sits above the small legs, then compare the silhouette with the much larger Crystal Dinosaur. Both creatures belong to the zoo’s crystal theme, yet they express it at very different scales and with very different personalities.

A living mineral landscape

The crystals belong to the tortoise’s fictional natural history. They suggest slow growth, turning its shell into a miniature landscape of ridges and glints. A patient animal becomes the carrier of a patient garden, with mineral shapes that reward a closer look at its back as well as its face.

Small feet, substantial shell

The design keeps the body close to the ground and puts the shell at the centre of the silhouette. That strong shape remains readable among the park’s angular plants and low fences. Small movements are enough to give the animal a distinct, unhurried presence.

Care beyond the first hatch

By this stage, your park has several residents competing for attention. The tortoise still benefits from the same regular visits as the earliest animals. Keep its hunger and cleanliness healthy, collect accumulated income and use the displayed contracts to choose the next upgrade.

KEEPER'S NOTES

A happy creature starts with you.

  1. Read the current contract before spending on a new habitat.
  2. Keep earlier habitats productive while saving for the tortoise’s construction and egg.
  3. Check care levels even when a calm animal appears content.
